‘Bam Bam’ signed a four-fight deal with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in 2016 and made his debut in the promotion against Rashad Coulter at UFC Fight Night: Werdum vs. Tybura in 2017. Tuivasa became the first Indigenous Australian to win a fight in UFC after defeating Coulter in the inaugural round of their fight by knockout.
