Tai Tuivasa’s Career in the UFC.
In November 2016, Tai Tuivasa signed a four-fight contract with the UFC but had to delay his debut due to a knee injury requiring surgery. His UFC debut came on November 19, 2017, at UFC Fight Night, where he defeated Rashad Coulter with a first-round knockout via a flying knee, becoming the first indigenous Australian to win a UFC fight and earning a Performance of the Night bonus.
Tuivasa continued his success with a technical knockout victory over Cyril Asker in February 2018, entering the UFC's heavyweight rankings. He then signed a new four-fight contract with the UFC and secured a unanimous decision victory against Andrei Arlovski in June 2018.
