Tai Tuivasa’s Career in the UFC.

In November 2016, Tai Tuivasa signed a four-fight contract with the UFC but had to delay his debut due to a knee injury requiring surgery. His UFC debut came on November 19, 2017, at UFC Fight Night, where he defeated Rashad Coulter with a first-round knockout via a flying knee, becoming the first indigenous Australian to win a UFC fight and earning a Performance of the Night bonus.

Tuivasa continued his success with a technical knockout victory over Cyril Asker in February 2018, entering the UFC's heavyweight rankings. He then signed a new four-fight contract with the UFC and secured a unanimous decision victory against Andrei Arlovski in June 2018.

In December 2018, Tuivasa faced Junior dos Santos but lost via technical knockout in the second round. He faced setbacks with unanimous decision losses to Blagoy Ivanov and Sergey Spivak in 2019.

In 2020, Tuivasa's bout with Jarjis Danho was postponed. He returned to winning ways with a first-round knockout of Stefan Struve at UFC 254 in October 2020.

In 2021, he defeated Harry Hunsucker via first-round TKO and Greg Hardy via first-round knockout, earning Performance of the Night honors.

Tuivasa secured a second-round knockout win over Augusto Sakai in December 2021 and a round-two knockout victory against Derrick Lewis in February 2022, earning Performance of the Night bonuses.

In September 2022, Tuivasa faced Ciryl Gane, losing via knockout in round three but earning the Fight of the Night award.

In December 2022, he suffered a first-round knockout loss to Sergei Pavlovich.
