After compiling a clinical record of six consecutive victories in different professional mixed martial arts promotions, Tai Tuivasa entered the elite mixed martial arts promotion, the UFC. He made his debut in the Octagon against Rashad Coulter on November 19, 2017, at UFC Fight Night: Werdum vs. Tybura. After fighting in multiple fight promotions, Marcin Tybura made his debut in the UFC against Timothy Johnson on April 10, 2016, at UFC Fight Night: Rothwell vs. dos Santos. He was defeated by Johnson via a unanimous decision in the first showing in the octagon. He recovered from his initial stumblings and is currently the No. 10 ranked heavyweight fighter in the UFC’s heavyweight division.
