In 2022, Megan Markle launched the 'Archetypes' podcast series exclusively on Spotify in a bumper $20 million deal, and it reportedly surpassed The Joe Rogan Experience show (JRE) by numbers. The 12-episode series mainly dived deep into women's issues and featured notable guests like Mariah Carrey, Jameela Jamil, and Pamela Adlon.
During its time on Spotify, the podcast series reportedly boasted around one million views per episode and even debuted as the platform's No.1 show in 47 countries after its launch in August 2022. The podcast series ran for one season before their deal with Spotify ended in 2023. Markle later signed a new deal with Lemonada, which allowed the episodes to be streamed across multiple streaming platforms.
While Markle's 'Archetypes' podcast was wildly successful, many disputed the notion that it surpassed the JRE podcast by numbers on the Spotify charts. After Melissa Knowles reported the news in an X post in August 2022, fans flocked to the comments section to express their doubt.

When Joe Rogan lashed out at Megan Markle's husband Prince Harry
Joe Rogan isn't a fan of Megan Markle's partner, Prince Harry, and once lashed out at the Duke of Sussex in his latest comedy special. Rogan's beef with the British royal appears to stem from his comments about the podcaster's opinions on vaccines.
In his 'Burn The Boats' stand-up special on Netflix, Rogan brutally mocked Prince Harry and claimed the Englishman "talked sh*t" about him. Rogan hilariously imagined getting high with the royal and said:
"I got canceled so often during Covid that sometimes I would find out by accident... One time, I just woke up. I was in my underwear. I plopped down, turned the TV on, and Prince Harry was talking s**t about me. I’m like, I just woke up. I’m vulnerable... Could you imagine doing mushrooms with Prince Harry?... 'I'm going to hover over him and say: "Are you sure vaccines are safe?" B*tch, you're not a scientist" [H/t: Daily Mail]
