ONE Championship had a month to remember this past March and things are about to get even bigger this year.

Martial arts fans across the globe were treated to six world-class events, from ONE Fight Night 8: Superlek vs. Williams on Prime Video, to five installments of the promotion’s weekly ONE Friday Fights inside Lumpinee Stadium.

Plus, ONE continued its global expansion with a spanking new broadcast deal and even captured the fancy of its American audience.

With that said, we've got a ton to unpack here, so let’s check out everything that went down in ONE Championship in March.

#5. ONE Championship partners with Seven Network in Australia

The Singapore-based promotion has just gotten closer to its growing fanbase in “The Land Down Under” by signing a monumental deal with Australia’s leading television network and most-watched sports broadcaster, Seven Network.

The partnership is historic since it will mark the first time Seven will broadcast MMA content on its network.

Plus, let’s not forget Australia has been a hotbed for combat sports talent as of late, and fans can’t wait to see world-class action on their airwaves.

Seven’s over 13.5 million nationwide users will finally be able to witness ONE Fight Night and ONE Friday Fights live and free.

#4. ONE’s US on-site debut sells out

The demand for ONE Championship’s unique brand of combat sports is truly at the highest it has ever been.

In fact, ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs. Moraes III, the promotion’s upcoming historical on-site United States debut at the 1stBank Center in Colorado on May 5, is such a massive hit that tickets have already sold out.

Aside from the trilogy match between Demetrious Johnson and Adriano Moraes for the ONE flyweight world title, the entire card is filled to the brim with exciting bouts in MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing, and submission grappling.

It's safe to say that ONE Fight Night 10 is the hottest ticket in town – pun intended.

The event will be broadcast live on US Primetime and is free for Amazon Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.

#3. ONE Friday Fights kept on delivering

The weekly showdown inside the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand has been a performance bonus bonanza so far.

Rambolek Chor Alajaboon set the tone at ONE Friday Fights 7 with his stunning KO over Theeradet Chor Hapayak.

An interesting prospect rose up the ranks at ONE Friday Fights 8 when Petsukumvit Boi Bangna announced himself as the new terror of the flyweight Muay Thai ranks.

Theptaksin Sor Sornsing and Superball Tded99 also stole the show at ONE Friday Fights 10 and ONE Friday Fights 11, respectively.

#2. ONE superstars Regian Eersel and Sam-A Gaiyanghado graced ONE Friday Fights 9

As amazing as those mentioned cards were, the star-studded ONE Friday Fights 9 event took everyone’s breath away.

Last March 17, Regian Eersel reasserted his mastery over Sinsamut Klinmee in the most decisive way possible, knocking him out with a thudding body shot to retain his lightweight Muay Thai crown.

The legendary Sam-A Gaiyanghadao blew the roof off Lumpinee with his triumphant return. The 39-year-old showed no ring rust whatsoever by annihilating Ryan Sheenan with a brutal second-round KO in their Muay Thai bout.

#1. World champions defend their thrones at ONE Fight Night 9

Superlek Kiatmoo9 and Allycia Hellen Rodrigues both enjoyed one of the best moments of their respective careers at ONE Fight Night 8.

In the main event of ONE’s third marquee card of the year, ‘The Kicking Machine’ took on late-replacement opponent Danial Williams after Rodtang Jitmuangnon bowed out due to injury.

The plan stayed the same for Superlek, as he delivered a performance for the ages and sent ‘Mini T’ into oblivion in round 3.

Elsewhere, Rodrigues unified the ONE atomweight Muay Thai belts with a riveting five-round beatdown of one of the best female strikers in the world, Janet Todd.

The proud mom champ, who was coming off a nearly three-year lay-off after the birth of her son, picked up where she left off and bloodied up Todd to collect the biggest feather on her cap.
