Joe Rogan once ushered in the New Year by offering a deeply thought-provoking perspective on the course of human history. The seasoned UFC commentator has gained widespread recognition for his compelling and diverse conversations on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast when he's not lending his distinctive voice to MMA broadcasts.
In his pursuit of understanding complex ideas, Rogan regularly invites a diverse range of guests to his show, from scientists and philosophers to fighters and stand-up comedians. His conversations with them highlight his genuine interest in exploring a variety of perspectives.
In January 2023, Rogan turned to Instagram to share a post reflecting on the immense challenges faced by people born in the 1900s and how their lives turned out afterward. The post highlighted how people in that era endured major global events, such as World War I, the Spanish Flu, the Great Depression, World War II, and many other hardships.
It emphasized the resilience of those who lived through such turmoil, comparing their experiences to how younger generations often overlook the struggles of their older relatives. Captivated by the outlook, Rogan wrote:

When Dana White revealed his plan to leave UFC over Joe Rogan's online cancellation
Joe Rogan is no stranger to sparking online uproar, frequently drawing criticism for statements made on his podcast that many deem controversial. In 2022, he endured widespread backlash after footage emerged of him using racial slurs on the show.
The storm intensified as his polarizing opinions on the COVID-19 vaccine and accusations of anti-Semitic remarks further fueled public outcry. This led some Spotify employees to demand the termination of Rogan’s contract, while the UFC also considered distancing itself from him.
However, during his appearance on the FLAGRANT podcast in June 2024, UFC CEO Dana White made it clear that he strongly disagreed with the idea and even stated that he would resign if the UFC decided to sever ties with his long-time friend, Rogan:
"You think that you're gonna f**king cancel Joe Rogan, and I'm gonna just say, OK? No, I will f**king quit this job and leave and go do something else before you're gonna try to f**k it. And the whole cancel thing... If you're in the right place in your life, then who the f**k's gonna cancel you?"
