#1 News: Cynthia Calvillo gets extended suspension for positive marijuana test
Cynthia Calvillo recently accepted a 6-month suspension after testing positive for marijuana during an in-competition test pertaining to her UFC 219 fight against Carla Esparza. Apparently, the NAC (Nevada Athletic Commission) has now increased Calvillo's suspension to 9 months.

Furthermore, Calvillo was also fined $6,150, which is 15 percent of the pay, $41,000, which she received in her UFC 219 Unanimous Decision loss to Carla Esparza. Calvillo tested positive for Carboxy-Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which is a marijuana metabolite.
