#2 News: Alexander Gustafsson sounds off against DC
Alexander Gustafsson has once again taken aim at longtime Light-Heavyweight rival and reigning UFC 205-pound Champion Daniel Cormier, accusing the latter of playing it safe by moving up to Heavyweight and fighting Stipe Miocic for the UFC 265-pound title later this year.

Gustafsson asserted that DC has everything to gain and nothing to lose in his fight against Miocic. Speaking on The MMA Hour, Gustafsson stated--
"I’ve been a little bit frustrated...because I was counting on the DC fight. Me and him fighting for the belt again, that was my plan. That was my plan basically, and it didn’t end up like that, so it’s been a little bit frustrating. I’ve been injured for awhile too..."
“And now when [Cormier] goes up a weight class, we’re just sitting there on the sideline watching everything happen. So I’m a little bit frustrated, a little bit disappointed.”
