#2 Bellator working on Fedor Emelianenko vs. Matt Mitrione

Fedor to fight in Bellator?

Bellator is currently building up the fight between Tito Ortiz and Chael Sonnen, and with Rory MacDonald on their roster, 2017 looks set to be a solid year for the promotion. Rumour has it that the promotion is also looking to bring in Russian MMA legend, Fedor Emelianenko, to fight former UFC star Matt Mitrione.

Mitrione currently has two wins to his name in Bellator, after securing 9 wins and five losses in UFC.

There were rumours earlier, about Shane Carwin having a showdown with Fedor. However, Carwin shot down those rumours himself, and later announced his signing with Rizin Fighting Federation. Fedor last fought at EFN, where he defeated Brazilian Fabio Maldonado via decision.
