Jon Jones' story could have so much better. Uberly talented but equally reckless, Bones is one of those names which will forever have the tag of a 'cheat' attached to it.
Whether he was clean or juiced up during his reign is a question that may remain unanswered for the foreseeable future, however, Jones' resume can't be overlooked despite his stained track record.
He got into the habit of beating accomplished fighters, many of whom are destined to be in the Hall of Fame someday. Ignoring his documented struggles with doping violations, Jones is the greatest Light Heavyweight of all time. He has the most wins in Light Heavyweight history (16), longest win streak (13), and most successive submission finishes in the division (5).
He could have been declared the GOAT already had it not been for his contaminated legacy. Father time is still on his side though.
