Joe Rogan was once scheduled to host a UFO whistleblower on his podcast, but security concerns reportedly led to the appearance being canceled. It sparked heated debates about the allegedly excessive measures the U.S. government takes to conceal information about UFOs and other space-related entities/technologies.

The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE) podcast's episode #2028 in August 2023 was to feature former U.S. intelligence agent and ex-Airforce officer David Grusch. In July 2023, Grusch had testified at a Congressional hearing, asserting that he'd accessed official government documents about UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects).

Following his whistleblower complaint filed in 2022, he indicated the American government allegedly had access to extraterrestrial aircraft and their deceased pilots. He claimed they were working on its technology, including engagement in reverse engineering. Akin to many other American UFO analysts/enthusiasts, he accused his country's government of threatening and/or hurting whistleblowers.

David Grusch was to speak to Joe Rogan on JRE #2028, alongside fellow UFO experts Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp. Nevertheless, Grusch didn't appear at Rogan's studio. Corbell and Knapp did spoke to the UFC color commentator, highlighting the dangers Grusch faced amid the investigations about his claims against the government.

Moreover, in episode number one of TMZ's three-part documentary, 'UFO Revolution,' Jeremy Corbell recounted how David Grusch's JRE appearance fell through. As reported by the Mirror, Corbell attributed it to a "security concern following his whistleblower testimony to Congress."

The filmmaker hailed Grusch for coming forward with his claims despite the potential repercussions. Corbell warned that anyone doing so must be prepared for extreme retaliation from government agencies and the powers that be:

"Look, man reprisals are real ... The effect of trying to silence people is absolutely real as well."

Grusch made multiple appearances on NewsNation in 2023, including a conversation with Elizabeth Vargas, wherein he indicated how the case had adversely affected his life. However, Grusch has consistently maintained that he didn't mean to undermine America's national security and/or its military by leaking secrets on technology or other sensitive topics.

That said, he's often emphasized that the common people deserve more transparency from the government in matters relating to UFOs aka UAPs (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena/Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena).

When did David Grusch speak to Joe Rogan on the JRE podcast?

David Grusch's long-awaited conversation with Joe Rogan on JRE transpired in episode #2065 in November 2023. Grusch implied that when he truly started looking into the UFO details, various U.S. government agencies clamped down hard on him. He alleged that they attempted to ruin his career, hurt his work associates' careers, and fabricated accusations against him without evidence.

Furthermore, he explained to Rogan that he partook in a legal battle, ultimately ensuring that he was able to honorably resign from his government job rather than being fired. Grusch also seemed to suggest that he and his spouse were threatened before he filed his whistleblower complaint:

"What happened to me personally was very disturbing. So I have to be very vague about this because ongoing investigation, but I think you'll understand what I'm saying is -- they showed my wife and I they can touch me at any time, two times."
