Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury 2 is a historic professional boxing event scheduled to be broadcast live from Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on December 21, 2024. The main event of the mega-boxing rematch bout will be headlined by British heavyweight professional boxer Tyson Fury along with the undisputed heavyweight world champion, Oleksandr Usyk. The duo's first fight was on May 18, 2024, when Usyk triumphed over Fury via a split decision after 12 rounds.
Tyson Fury made his professional boxing debut on December 6, 2008, against Bela Gyongyosi in a six-round fight. He made quick work of Gyongyosi by beating him via a first-round TKO. Right after his successful debut, Fury never looked back and kept winning fights on the trot. He became the WBC heavyweight champion and also held the unified heavyweight titles from 2015 to 2016, and also won the Ring magazine championship two times between 2015 to 2016. With an experience of around 16 years, Fury is one of the biggest names in professional boxing. On the other hand, Oleksandr Usyk is the current undisputed world heavyweight champion. He made his professional boxing debut on November 9, 2013, and was welcomed in the squared circle by Felipe Romero. Usyk defeated Romero by a fifth-round TKO and started his career with a win. He maintained his winning run as his career progressed forward winning several accolades and championships in the process.
