UFC 189: New promo video & poster for 'Mendes vs. McGregor' released

Chad was replaced to fight McGregor after Aldo pulled out due to a fractured rib

After Jose Aldo withdrew from his UFC 189 title bout against Conor McGregor due to a broken rib, the disappointed UFC President Dana White replaced Aldo with Chad Mendes. With such short notice, Chad agreed to fight McGregor for the interim title in the featherweight division at the upcoming PPV. And now UFC has released a video promo of the fight. Here’s how it looks:

UFC also tweeted a poster of the 'Mendes vs. McGregor' fight. The poster also features the co-main event match of the event between Robbie Lawler and Rory MacDonald. Here’s the tweet:
