Rose Namajunas vs Joanna Jedrzejczyk
Perhaps the biggest upset of the night came when Rose Namajunas -- a woman who’d been soundly out-struck by former Jedrzejczyk victim, Karolina Kowalkiewicz, caught the mighty JJ with a right hand and then a monstrous left hook before raining down a few ground and pound strikes.
Namajunas stayed calm throughout the buildup to her second title fight, having lost her first shot at the belt against former champion Carla Esparza. Meanwhile, Joanna seemed to be bustling with nervous energy as the two stared down each other inside the Octagon.

Jorge Masvidal talked his mouth off in order to get the ‘Wonderboy’ fight however once the Octagon door slammed shut, it was Thompson who proved to be the better man on the night.
Thompson completely shut down Masvidal’s boxing and wrestling game, cutting weird angles while using his point fighting background to full advantage.
Masvidal did land a few decent punches in the latter half of the fight, but to no avail, as the judges scored it a one-sided decision for Thompson.

Paulo Costa vs Johny Hendricks
