Cejudo appeared to have Pettis’ timing down, not only on the feet but also in the grappling department as well. Cejudo struck first and hit hard; keeping Pettis at bay throughout; impressing the judges enough to walk away the victor.

#4 Eddie Alvarez vs. Justin Gaethje
Alvarez and Gaethje delivered on their promise to bring the fight to one another.
Although Gaethje had tremendous success with leg kicks throughout the fight, Alvarez showed excellent composure and striking defence. He went to Gaethje’s body consistently, sapping the latter of his power and cardio.
Alvarez seemed to be on his way to victory, however, chose to go for the kill with a tremendous knee strike right on the button, and follow-up punches to seal the deal.

#5 Tecia Torres vs. Michelle Waterson
Michelle Waterson is undersized for this division, and on fight night, it showed.
Torres seemed to get off her strikes a second before Waterson would in almost every exchange. She caught Waterson with a few excellent right hands over the top, but lacked the power to finish ‘The Karate Hottie’.
Furthermore, Torres doled out some vicious punishment on Waterson toward the end of this matchup, but the latter survived nonetheless. Torres was awarded the decision in the end,
