#2 Daniel Cormier vs. Volkan Oezdemir

Daniel Cormier weathered the early storm against Volkan Oezdemir; with the latter throwing serious leather in the early moments of Round 1.

Nevertheless, DC tagged a gassed Oezdemir towards the end of the round, following which he easily took the latter to the mat in Round 2.

DC proceeded to maul Oezdemir with a barrage of unanswered ground strikes from the crucifix position. The referee rescued Oezdemir from the vicious beat-down and Cormier retained his UFC Light-Heavyweight Championship.

#3 Calvin Kattar vs. Shane Burgos

Calvin Kattar put on an excellent striking display early on in the fight against Burgos.

While Burgos did have his moments throughout, Kattar eventually broke him down. Kattar caught Burgos with a slick punch on the inside, before ending the bout by way of TKO.

#4 Gian Villante vs. Francimar Barroso

Gian Villante put on a fantastic performance, both in the striking and grappling departments.

Villante out-struck Barroso over the course of the fight, and while the grappling exchanges were quite even, one of the 3 judges inexplicably scored the fight for Barroso.

Regardless, with two scorecards in his favour, Villante walked away the victor, and rightfully so.

#5 Rob Font vs. Thomas Almeida

Rob Font put on a show for the fans against dangerous Muay Thai striker Thomas Almeida.

While Font had the more fluid striking throughout, Almeida did have his moments over the course of the match. Regardless, Font tagged Almeida with a beautiful Head-Kick in the second stanza of the matchup, following up with a barrage of punches for the win.
