As regards the striking, Bochniak tagged Davis at will, but the grappling exchanges were in fact quite competitive. In the end, Bochniak did enough so as to warrant a clear-cut decision victory across the judges’ scorecards.

Bochniak also showed excellent composure in the matchup—something that had been glaringly missing from most of his previous performances.

Result: Kyle Bochniak def. Brandon Davis via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27)

#2 Abdul Razak Alhassan vs. Sabah Homasi

Abdul Razak Alhassan was taken down early in the fight by Homasi; with the referee inexplicably standing them up without allowing the fight to proceed on the ground.

While Homasi appeared to be moving around well, Alhassan tagged him with a brutal uppercut; ending proceedings in an instant. Alhassan once again proved his KO power, and fans can expect him to be matched up with a top-15 opponent in his next Octagon outing.

Result: Abdul Razak Alhassan def. Sabah Homasi via KO (Punch) (Round 1, 3:47)
