#4 Valentina Shevchenko vs. Joanna Jedrzejczyk:

Valentina Shevchenko got everything she wanted

Round 1: Valentina Shevchenko maintained her distance in the beginning hitting Joanna with repeated shots to the body with kicks. She took down Joanna and slammed her to the ground and tried to gain control. Joanna managed to get back up, but they clinched against the cage.

The two broke apart and continued the feeling out process, with neither fighter truly committing. Valentina came out of nowhere, and turned around and hit a spinning body-kick.

Round 2: Valentina came out with a spinning backfist in answer to a jab. Both exchaged leg kicks, followed by a combination by Valentina. Joanna went for a leg kick which Valentina immediately caught and slammed her down to the ground.

Shevchenko kept battering at Joanna. Shevchenko had complete control and hit Joanna with a hard knee the moment she got to her feet, dropping her yet again.

Round 3: Valentina connected an enormous spinning back kick sending Joanna backwards. She seemed to have complete control throughout, connecting with a couple of big shots. Joanna threw a high kick, but Valentina took her down. They were back on their feet in a second. Joanna tried to stick in some jabs, but getting close to Valentina was a challenge by itself.

Valentina got caught with a head kick, but came back with a couple of lefts of her own. Valentina kept control and hit a knee to the face while Joanna laughed. Valentina punished her with a knee once again, but Joanna was laughing.

Round 4: Valentina looked steady heading into the fourth round, but Joanna looked like she had suddenly gotten a second wind. Valentina went to the ground with Joanna and took her back. However, Joanna got up to her feet and almost got the back of Valentina.

Joanna came off stronger in this round, while Valentina had slowed down. Valentina caught Joanna with a couple of big shots, but Joanna returned the favour as well.

Round 5: Joanna came out shooting at Valentina with shot after shot. Valentina managed to catch her and get her down. Valentina clinched and hit a high knee.

Joanna landed a big right and Valentina returned with a big combo. Shevchenko kept hitting powerful shots, which saw her take control towards the end.

Results: Valentina Shevchenko defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk via Unanimous Decision (49-46, 49-46, 49-46)
