Elsewhere, Josh Emmett (145lbs) and Yair Rodriduez (145lbs) are all set to compete for their first taste of UFC gold as each fighter makes weight for their interim featherweight title bout.
Fans have been praising the 37-year-old Emmett's commitment to making weight as images of the American from the weigh-ins suggest it's taken a serious amount of work.
Although every fight at UFC 284 is set to go ahead, further down the card, two fighters unfortunately missed weight and will be penalized. Flyweight fighter Kleydson Rodrigues (127lbs) missed the mark and will forfeit 20% of their purse on the night for being over by 1lbs.
More shockingly, lightweight debutant Zubaira Tukhugov (157.5lbs) missed weight once again, despite having moved up from featherweight due to struggles with weight cutting. Tukhugov is expected to forfeit 30% of his fight purse.
