During Wednesday's media day, the bantamweight champion said:
"I was also dealing with some injuries. But once I [heard] the UFC needs me, I stepped up and Dana [White] said yes."
Dvalishvili refused to reveal the nature of the injury but promised to do so after the fight.
"It was affecting my training. I will post it after the fight but training was difficult because of this injury. But I’m good, I’m ready now. It’s all good."
Dvalishvili told Bloody Elbow a few days back that the injury was a "serious" one and gave him a lot of pain during training, but he did not want to cause panic among fans.
Dana White: "What the f*ck is he doing on Frontier Airlines anyway?"
Dana White was recently asked on the Pardon My Take podcast to weigh in on Khabib Nurmagomedov being removed from a Frontier Airlines plane. He said:
"What the f*ck is he doing on Frontier Airlines anyway? This kid’s got more money than anybody, but that’s how humble he is. He’s flying on that piece of sh*t airline."
White then suggested he would teach Nurmagomedov how to charter a private plane, especially for short-distance domestic travel from Las Vegas to San Francisco. He also agreed with the consensus that 'The Eagle' was potentially one of the more capable passengers on the plane that day and would have been of assistance during an emergency.
"That’s how dumb they are at Frontier Airlines. If there’s anybody you want in that position, it’s Khabib Nurmagomedov."
The UFC CEO dismissed the notion that Nurmagomedov had to fly coach on Frontier Airlines because he wasn't paid well enough for his fights. White pointed out that not only did he make millions at the UFC, but he was also financially rewarded by Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, and Russian authorities.

Joe Rogan blames homeless people for Los Angeles fires
Joe Rogan believes that the devastating fires in Los Angeles, California are being set by homeless people and are not a result of climate change.
Rogan claimed so during the latest episode of The Joe Rogan Experience (#2256) in which he hosted the 'Protect Our Park's segment with Shane Gillis, Mark Normand, and Ari Shaffir:
"It's arson you f*cking idiots. The homeless are doing it... They’re more inclined to use fire to get their anger out."
The UFC commentator continued:
"You’ve got 100,000 losers that are just camping on your street... what do you think is going to happen when these people [who] are living in $50M housesnand you’re camping out just a block away? And the looting. They’re looting people’s houses, when they found out the places are getting evacuated, swarms of organized gangs were showing up."
