Round 1: Cezar Ferreira took control of Heinisch early on, though he was the one backing off. Ferreira bullied Heinisch taking him to the ground, but soon enough Heinisch came back with a body kick and a few rushes.

Heinisch blocked a Ferreira takedown attempt and transitioned it into a Guillotine Choke. Heinisch cranked on his neck, but Ferreira managed to get out. Heinisch kept a hold of Ferreira's hand and looked for a Triangle and an Armbar.

Ferreira managed to last out the round, and that was enough.
Round 2: Ferreira took Heinisch down, but Heinisch went for the Kimura. Neither fighter could get exactly what they were going for. They returned to their feet and went at it. Ferreira looked like he was slower in this round, but he managed to take Heinisch down yet again.
Heinisch dropped Ferreira at the end of the second round, leaving him scrambling.
Round 3: Heinisch tripped in the beginning of the third round, which saw Ferreira take him down. Heinisch popped back up yet again and then reversed the clinch, pressing Ferreira against the cage. The two went at it with Heinisch hitting a few shots before Ferreira took him back to the cage.
Heinisch dipped under a hook by Ferreira and hit Ferreira with an amazing combination which shook him. Heinisch followed up with a takedown and continued with a ground and pound. Ferreira was extremely hurt, but got back up. Heinisch hit Ferreira again with a right hand.
Heinisch went for the single leg takedown, but Ferreira escaped. He hit Ferreira with three big shots. He hit a big forearm and then the two went for it until the final buzzer to close off the fight.
