#1 Nadia Kassem vs Alex Chambers

Nadia Kassem made a statement with her win over Alex Chambers

Kassem’s pacing and distance had Chambers confused in the early going, and that’s how the rest of their bout played out as well.

Although it wasn’t a dominant performance, so to speak, Kassem did enough to warrant a win on the scorecards—outpointing Chambers in all aspects of the fight.

Result: Nadia Kassem def. Alex Chambers via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-27, 29-27)

#2 Eric Shelton vs Jenel Lausa

Shelton came into this fight as the more well-rounded Mixed Martial Artist.

When that Octagon door slammed shut, it showed, as Shelton thoroughly outworked Lausa. In fact, Shelton showcased several improvements as well; with slick combos on the feet, greater timing et al.

Furthermore, Shelton also exhibited a great understanding and management of distance over the course of his fight with Lausa. In the end, the judges awarded the win to Shelton.

Result: Eric Shelton def. Jenel Lausa via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-26, 30-25)

#3 Adam Wieczorek vs Anthony Hamilton

Wieczorek came in with an excellent game-plan but seemingly failed to implement it throughout.

Big props to Hamilton for adjusting midway and stealing a round from his foe. However, Wieczorek started off with crisp combinations which had the former stagnant.

Nevertheless, Hamilton’s corner seemed to have noticed the same and adapted midway. It would all prove to be for nought, however, as Wieczorek ran away with the bout across the scorecards.

Result: Adam Wieczorek def. Anthony Hamilton via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
