Round 1: The fight started up fast for Moises, as he went for a jumping guard, which he tried to transition into the Guillotine Choke. Unfortunately, Dariush was able to break free and went for the ground and pound.

Moises went for another submission, but Dariush broke the hold yet again. Moises was pressed against the cage, and the two went at it near the cage. Moises went for the Guillotine yet again, but Dariush broke free and hit a couple of big head shots. A big body kick by Moises saw Dariush hurt, but Dariush took him down and managed to get on his back.

Dariush got one hook in with twenty seconds left and instead hit a couple of really big shots to end up the round.
Round 2: Dariush pushed Moises into the cage and then took Moises down, looking for a ground and pound. Dariush stayed on top, looking for that critical shot, but couldn't really find anything.
Moises got up and Dariush took his back. He stayed on top and did not really beat him up, but wore him out. Suddenly out of nowhere Dariush went for the Rear Naked Choke and almost locked it in. Thankfully the round came to an end before any real damage could be done.
Round 3: Dariush looked ready for the round, as he intended to somehow get through the fight and pick up the win with the help of a wearing out Moises. Moises jumped and went for the Guillotine, but was not able to do so.
Dariush fought out, and got in the Body Triangle and was in position for the Rear Naked Choke. Thankfully for Moises, he was able to get a hold of Dariush's left arm.
Dariush went on top of Moises and stayed on top to end the round.
The fact that Moises lasted this long and continued to press Dariush was remarkable for him as he made his UFC debut and took the fight on short notice.
