#5 Donald Cerrone vs. Mike Perry

A celebration with his family ended the night for Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone

Round 1: Donald Cerrone and Mike Perry were both intense in the beginning, but Cowboy's takedown attempts were blocked by Perry. Perry looked for and got a few jabs, but Cowboy immediately went for another takedown, and this time he was successful.

Perry was taken down in an awkward position, but 'Cowboy' took his back. He put on the choke, but that was not enough. Perry was extremely capable and popped out of the hold, despite it looking like Cerrone had it done.

Cerrone came down in front and locked in the Arm Triangle Choke. He transitioned immediately, as the UFC Denver co-headliner came to a fast end with seconds to go in the first round.

Cowboy locked in the armbar and that was it. Perry tapped.

Cerrone celebrated inside the Octagon with his family as he finally picked up the win after a poor run of fights recently.
