#6 Chan Sung Jung vs. Yair Rodriguez
Round 1: Chan Sung Jung faced Yair Rodriguez in the main event, and Rodriguez's leg kick had the Korean Zombie struggle to maintain his balance. A rush by the Zombie saw him hit an excellent combination, but Rodriguez only smirked at him.
The UFC Denver crowd was heated up, as Rodriguez kept hitting a couple of leg kicks. The Zombie landed a good uppercut, which was answered by Rodriguez with a big wheel kick.

The leg kicks on the same legs that had gone through a knee surgery had Jung hesitating. Jung answered with jabs and good front kicks. Both fighters used their advantages looking to pick up the win.
Rodriguez answered with a huge front kick, but a rally by Jung saw Rodriguez have to back up from the rush by the Zombie. A straight few kicks and punches saw Rodriguez in trouble. Both fighters committed well and kept at it, hitting each other with extremely good shots. The round ended with both fighters going to the ground.
Round 2: The second round saw both the fighters exchange a couple of good shots. Rodriguez went for the big shot to the body with his knee but caught Jung in the groin instead and the fight was paused. Yair Rodriguez landed a couple of shot, including a spinning elbow which he just took.
The Denver crowd cheered them on when they went at it again, as they were both loose. Rodriguez went for a big knee followed by a Head kick. Zombie answered with a good hook of his own.
Round 3: Zombie hit a body kick, which Rodriguez answered with a body kick of his own. Rodriguez hit an acrobatic wheel kick which made the crowd cheer his name. Rodriguez had cut open Zombie in the last round, and it was showing.
Rodriguez hit a body kick followed by a leg kick which saw Zombie shaken. Rodriguez advanced with shots consistently and made sure to put Zombie on the back foot.
Suddenly Chan Sung Jung advanced and landed a few big punches. Jung went on to land a couple of big hooks, which saw Rodriguez circle away. The Korean Zombie landed a couple of big blocks and then hit Rodriguez with a jab and a left hook. Suddenly Rodriguez looked a bit tired.
Rodriguez hit a good head kick, and Zombie and Rodriguez ended the round exchanging big blows.
Round 4: Zombie started the fourth round with a big hook, and then an uppercut had Rodriguez fall back. Jung had somehow found his rhythm and found that as he progressed he got only better.
Rodriguez hit a big few shots, and Zombie hit a couple of shots in return. A left hook from Rodriguez put Zombie on the ground. They exchanged jabs at the same time while Rodriguez hit yet another leg kick. Both men were bleeding by this point. Zombie hit a big right hook, and backed off. Zombie followed up with a huge knee to Rodriguez who jumped up to avoid the shot to the face.
The fight slowed down after an apparent groin shot. Zombie landed another big right hand. Rodriguez went for the takedown which was blocked fast by the Zombie. The round ended with both men exchanging hooks.
Round 5: Considering the fact that Rodriguez took the fight on short notice, it is incredible that he kept going until the fifth round, setting a great pace.
Zombie came out with the body shot, and then almost landed a blow which was blocked. Neither man backed off. Rodriguez landed a kick, but Zombie landed a hook. Another inside kick by Rodriguez followed by a rush by Zombie saw the fighters in a stalemate yet again.
Rodriguez went for a takedown, but Zombie hit him with a left hand instead. Zombie rushed in with a 1-2, and then Rodriguez came out swinging for a few shots. A big high kick by Rodriguez followed by a punch by Zombie buckled both fighters' legs. What a fight!
Rodriguez hit Chan Sung Jung with a spinning backfist. Rodriguez and Zombie exchanged significant blows, but Jung won that exchange. In the last few seconds, Zombie landed a rush combination. In the last 10 seconds they hit an amazing flurry and the fight ended in a way that could not have been thought possible.
Rodriguez took Zombie's charge and that was it. Zombie was done. At the buzzer, Rodriguez knocked out the Korean Zombie with an incredible vertical elbow coming from the bottom. Zombie's lights went out. WHAT A WIN! WHAT A FIGHT!
