Xiaonan and Kondo went at it early on in their fight. Both fighters were looking for the early finish, but it was Xiaonan who dominated proceedings early, with strike after strike pushing her opponent further and further back.

The proceedings only seemed to favour Xiaonan in round one, as she landed several significant shots which thoroughly inconvenienced her opponent.

The second round is more of the same, with Kondo being the one to advance, but the consistent attacks from Xiaonan making it impossible for her to achieve anything of note throughout the entire time. Xiaonan's continuous strikes make her the obvious favourite as the head into the third round.
The third round had Xiaonan hitting Kondo with continuous shots, combinations of low kicks and heavy shots. Kondo never looked for a moment as if worn down and she ended the fight showing fantastic staying power if nothing else.
