UFC Fight Night 152 Results: UFC Debutant destroys favourite, new Hall of Famer announced

#6. Kevin Lee (17-4-0) vs. Rafael Dos Anjos (23-11-0) (Welterweight)

Dos Anjos vs. Lee.

Round 1: Kevin Lee dropped Dos Anjos early in the round with a quickfire left punch. Lee and Dos Anjos clinched near the fence. Lee began working for a takedown as he attempted to trip Dos Anjos off his feet.

Dos Anjos set the pace of the fight and it was high tempo as RDA may have expected. Dos Anjos landed a few strikes and knees from the clinch. Lee continued to push for a takedown but Dos Anjos stayed firm on his feet while also staying active.

They broke up and Lee connected with a body kick followed by a good 1-2. Dos Anjos scored a takedown in the dying stages of the round. Both men had their moments.

Round 2: A solid body kick from Dos Anjos and Lee didn't waste any time to go for the takedown. He hoisted Anjos up in the air and slammed him into the mat.

The fight didn't stay down for long as they got back to the centre. RDA found his range and tagged Lee with a few strikes. Lee too connected with a few combinations and a head kick. Lee had RDA backed up against the cage as he transitioned into a clinch. Some clinch work followed as RDA tried to lock in the Kimura.

RDA connected with three huge shots on the break. Lee shot for the legs again as the round came to a close.

Round 3: RDA jumped with a flying knee in an attempt to put Lee off his game. RDA landed his third takedown of the fight - the most Lee has experienced in a fight.

Lee worked his way back to his feet but RDA shot for the leg again. Lee managed to get RDA's back in a transition. RDA, though, showed off his Jui Jitsu prowess by got giving up his neck with some swift movement.

They got back up to their feet and back down again as RDA landed another takedown. A scramble ended the round.

Round 4: RDA used his jab to good effect. Both men kicked at the same time which resulted in RDA taking a groin shot. RDA strung together his combinations and leg kicks, but Lee wasn't idle either as he kept giving back with strikes of his own.

Lee went for a body kick and shot for a takedown right after Dos Anjos' low kick. Dos Anjos passed to mount, worked in an Arm Triangle choke, locked it in and forced Lee to tap out. That was smooth.

RDA's two-fight losing streak comes to an end courtesy of his clinical performance against The Motown Phenom, who suffered his second straight loss.
