Grasso vs. Shevchenko 2 was a mixed martial arts (MMA) event organized by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that took place on September 16 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.

This event marked Mexican Independence Day by featuring numerous Mexican fighters on its card. The main card for UFC Fight Night: Grasso vs. Shevchenko 2 commenced at 10 pm ET.

At UFC 285, Alexa Grasso delivered an astounding upset against Valentina Shevchenko with a face-crank submission win, stunning everyone with her success in winning the title and shocking the world. She is set to make her first title defense in this event. Unfortunately, the main event was declared a draw, which meant Grasso retained her title.

Shavkat Rakhmonov was scheduled to fight Kelvin Gastelum in this event. Unfortunately, Gastelum had to pull out as he sustained an injury to his face.

The co-main event was a welterweight clash between No.13 contender Kevin Holland and No.14 ranked Jack Della Maddalena. Della Maddalena won this bout via a split decision.

UFC’s youngest prospect, Raul Rosas Jr., made his third appearance in the UFC on the main card of this event against Terrence Mitchell, whom he defeated via TKO in the first round.
