The UFC is headed to the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada for its next fight night event, UFC 282: Błachowicz vs. Ankalaev. The action will go down this Saturday, December 10 with a series of intriguing matchups on tap.
A vacant light heavyweight title bout between former champion Jan Blachowicz and the highly-touted Magomed Ankalaev will headline the event.
Taking the co-main event honors will be a lightweight clash between fan favorite Paddy Pimblett and Jared Gordon. 'The Baddy' will make his first UFC pay-per-view appearance on Saturday, in his bid to pick up fifth consecutive finish.

Also on the main card, Darren Till will return to action as he squares off against a streaking Dricus Du Plessis. 'The Gorilla' will be in dire need of a win after dropping his last two fights and going 1-4 in his last five octagon appearances. 'Stillknocks', meanwhile, will aim to continue his unbeaten run under the promotional banner when he gets his first big name this weekend.
The main card of the event will also play host to a featherweight showdown between Bryce Mitchell and Ilia Topuria. The fight could potentially serve as the main card opener and promises to be an exhilarating affair.
UFC Fight Tonight: Jan Blachowicz looks to make another run at the title against Magomed Ankalaev
Jan Blachowicz captured the vacant light heavyweight title in late 2020 when it was first vacated by Jon Jones. However, the Polish fighter dropped the belt to Glover Teixeira in his second title defense last year.
After an impressive TKO win over Aleksandar Rakic this past May, Blachowicz has the opportunity to recapture the 205-pound gold, which was vacated by Jiri Prochazka following a serious shoulder injury. However, the 39-year-old former champion has a tough challenge ahead of him.
Blachowicz will go toe-to-toe against Dagestani standout Magomed Ankalaev, who is riding the longest win streak in the division inside the octagon. Ankalaev has rattled off nine consecutive victories since his unsuccessful promotional debut in early 2018.

Boasting an impressive 17-1 pro-MMA record, the Dagestani is fresh off a second-round TKO win over Anthony Smith in July and will be determined to produce another strong performance when he gets his first crack at the title this Saturday.
