UFC News: Donald Cerrone keen to get his hands on Conor McGregor

Last night, UFC President Dana White confirmed that a Welterweight bout between the returning Conor McGregor and Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone will main event UFC 246.

Ariel Helwani has now revealed that Cerrone is excited about the prospect of getting his hands on 'The Notorious One'.

'Cowboy' gives his take on facing Conor McGregor

Donald Cerrone is one of the most active fighters on the UFC roster, having constantly accepted fights in both the Lightweight and Welterweight divisions of the company.

On the back of a loss to Justin Gaethje, Cerrone is now ready to move up to the Welterweight division and face McGregor in January. Ahead of the fight, Ariel Helwani spoke to Cerrone's manager, Josh Jones, who revealed that 'Cowboy' is eager to step inside the Octagon with the Irishman.

When is UFC 246?

UFC 246 is scheduled to take place on the 18th of January, 2020 and the main event of the card will feature Conor McGregor going head-to-head with Donald Cerrone.
