At UFC 205, Conor McGregor defeated Eddie Alvarez for the UFC Lightweight Championship to become the first person to hold two UFC titles simultaneously.
The Irishman’s foe claims to have gone off the line with his game plan when he got caught with McGregor’s strikes time and time again only to be knocked down to the canvas. Alvarez now recalls the incident, rather disappointedly but keeping aside his emotions he has predicted The Notorious one’s next move.
As per the reports on Bjpenn.com, this is what he had to say:

“Tony Ferguson, that’s not a pay-per-view, that’s not a draw. Nobody cares about that.
I don’t know how many people care about Khabib. People would only really care if he fought for a third title. That would be fun. People would tune in for that, if he fought for the 170 (pound title).”
Here’s a Tweet mentioning the statement by Eddie Alvarez:
Despite Nurmagomedov’s and Ferguson’s recent impressive wins, Alvarez thinks that McGregor is now only after big fights or title fights.
Tyron Woodley recently had a backstage altercation with McGregor during the UFC 205 pre-event press conference and the duo exchanged some words following the weigh-ins that stirred up a little heat between the two. McGregor went on to insult ‘T-wood’ online:
Despite losing to Nate Diaz in a Welterweight fight, McGregor didn’t hesitate to pick on the Welterweight champion. The Notorious one was previously warned by Woodley to stay out of the 170 pounds division but the Irishman said that he was after ‘all the belts’.
A match between Tyron Woodley and Conor McGregor for the welterweight belt would certainly be a fight worth tuning into. But will Dana White, who was against McGregor having a second fight with Diaz at 170 pounds, accept the proposal? Only time will tell.
