UFC News: Nick Diaz reveals that he will return to fighting very soon

Nick Diaz has revealed, in rather bizarre circumstances, that he will be returning to active competition in mixed martial arts very soon.

The following video was recently tweeted by Anton Tabuena of Bloody Elbow. The video shows Diaz in a bar having a conversation with a member of the public who had challenged the former UFC star to kick him in the groin...

Thankfully, Diaz manages to resist the temptation to accept the man's challenge and took a moment to explain why...

“That’s really not my thing. I don’t want to hurt people. I could, but also, I don’t want to hurt myself. I’ve got big news coming up. I’m about to be fighting again soon.”

The notion that Nick Diaz is finally ready to return to the UFC has been gathering steam for a number of weeks now. It is well known that the Stockton-based fighter is now in the USADA testing pool, which is compulsory for all members of the active UFC roster.

On top of that, Diaz has been engaged in a war of words with Jorge Masvidal ever since he claimed the BMF belt against Nate Diaz earlier this month - with Nick looking for an opportunity to avenge his brother's loss.
