Blachowicz is a highly technical kickboxer, with cardio issues that show in almost every fight. He out-pointed Cannonier at every turn, and despite giving up one round to the latter, Blachowicz did enough to sway the judges in his favor.
One ought to note that this fight didn’t feature as much action as expected. Nevertheless, Blachowicz executed his game-plan to a T, by shutting down Cannonier’s wrestling game.

#2 Julian Marquez vs. Darren Stewart
Julian Marquez and Darren Stewart engaged in a highly entertaining clash which ended in a highlight reel finish.
Marquez seemingly enjoyed a considerable size advantage once they got into the Octagon, and used said advantage to the best of his abilities. Stewart put on a great show for the fans in attendance, but came up short for his efforts.
Marquez dinged Stewart in multiple occasions. However, Stewart would fire back defiantly. In the end, Marquez slapped on a Guillotine Choke for the finish over an exhausted Stewart.

#3 Chad Laprise vs. Galore Bofando
Chad Laprise showed a great understanding of timing and distance in this matchup against Bofando. The former bedazzled Bofando with his movement, before putting an exclamation mark on his masterful striking clinic.
This fight didn’t last too long, however, the improvements in Laprise’s overall MMA skills showed against an overmatched foe. Laprise darted in and out of range with relative ease.
Intriguingly, Bofando made a technical error by letting his guard down early in the fight, following which Laprise stunned him and followed up with a barrage of strikes for the finish.
