Welcome to Sportskeeda's daily MMA News Roundup, where we present the biggest UFC updates and other stories from the world of mixed martial arts.

In today's issue, we talk about Endeavor's takeover of WWE, Andrew Tate's latest musings, and more.

#3. Endeavor now owns a massive stake in WWE

UFC's parent company Endeavor has announced the acquisition of WWE. In a deal that will inevitably shape the future of combat sports singlehandedly, the company now owns a 51% controlling interest in WWE. The remainder will be with existing investors and stakeholders, including the McMahon family and Paul 'Triple H' Levesque.

The pro wrestling juggernaut has been valued by Endeavor at $9 billion. With the takeover, Endeavor has now formed a $21+ billion global live sports and entertainment company made up of the UFC and WWE.

Here's Dana White's statement on the acquisition:

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com reported that despite the takeover, Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel will leave creative decisions to Vince McMahon and everyone else currently involved with the process.

#2. Andrew Tate believes he will be shot sometime soon

Andrew Tate has been quite active on social media since his release from prison. In a recent tweet, the alleged human trafficker claimed that he will soon be gunned down, presumably by 'The Matrix'.

Tate stated that he was preparing to bulletproof his body as he was anticipating an assassination attempt to silence him.

"I prepare my body to absorb the brutal kinetics of piercing lead. As all other silencing attempts fail, and stage 3 approaches - I anticipate a bullet will be the chosen utensil of pacification. I can only pray and prepare. I will force myself to breathe the best I can. I promise."

Andrew and Tristan Tate are currently under house arrest in Romania.

#1. Jorge Masvidal could retire after UFC 287

Jorge Masvidal may give up on his title aspirations if he loses at UFC 287.

At 38 years old, 'Gamebred' knows he's not getting any younger and has arrived at the decision to quit fighting if he suffers a defeat. On the latest episode of UFC Countdown, Masvidal said:

"This could be the last one. If I lose, I'm pretty much calling it quits but a win against Gilbert means that things are headed in the right direction, so if I roll the dice and do everything right, I'm going for it all."

Masvidal is set to face Gilbert Burns on the April 8 card. This is the first time he will compete inside the octagon since losing to Colby Covington and then sucker-punching him in the street in March last year.
