He recently posted a photo of an X-ray of the foot on his Instagram Story, in which he seemed to have broken the toe in multiple places. It was later reshared on X by @SpinninBackfist:
According to many, Gane did not do enough to win. The Frenchman's body language insinuated he agreed with the sentiment. MMA judge Adalaide Byrd, who was previously criticized because of the controversial Canelo Alvarez vs. Gennady Golovkin scorecard, was blasted online for yet another alleged blunder. She earned scathing remarks from Volkov, who questioned her ability to judge a UFC fight unbiasedly.
Russell Crowe leaks details on Joe Rogan's podcast
Russell Crowe, who appeared on Joe Rogan's podcast in August 2024, has shared some surprising details about what goes on behind the camera at the show.
He said while speaking with Kate Ritchie on Nova 96.9's Fitzy and Wippa on Monday that he had to sign some documents agreeing to not leave before the filming of the episode ends [H/t: Sky News Australia]:
"He goes, 'We’ll chat for about three hours.' And I’m like, 'Three hours? That’s kind of ridiculous.' And that’s what he fully intends."
"But they have this thing that kind of wants you there. It's like you have to sort of sign things, saying you're not going to leave till the chat is over."
When asked who decided the duration of the episode, Crowe said it was Rogan and that it was roughly the same as it takes to smoke a cigar.
Conor McGregor reacts to Ilia Topuria's UFC retirement plan
Ilia Topuria recently said in an interview with El Partidazo de COPE that he plans on retiring from MMA by the age of 30. He is currently 27. Conor McGregor responded to the comment in a tweet that has since been deleted:
"Here's the truth that will hurt all the little wannabe nobodies. Fighting was too easy for me, I done it all by 27 years old."
McGregor was 28 years old when he became a UFC double champion.
Topuria also said in the interview that he is done with the featherweight division and wants to move up to lightweight. He initially wanted to face the champion Islam Makhachev right away but is now willing to fight Charles Oliveira first in case the Dagestani will not be ready to compete again in the first half of 2025 after fighting Arman Tsarukyan at UFC 311 in January.
