Round 3: Pedro Munhoz got the first couple of jabs but Frankie Edgar landed a clear left to follow up. Edgar continued with his 3-4 punch combos, but Munhoz's single shots would hold as much or more power. Edgar followed up with a right. Edgar's flurries began to pay off and on one such occasion, he landed a big left.
Pedro Munhoz's chin was being tested in a big way. Munhoz finally brought back his leg kicks. As the round progressed, Munhoz's overall defense improved. He still wasn't landing anything as significant, indicating that Edgar won the third round.

Round 4: In the fourth round, Edgar was still landing the combinations while Pedro Munhoz was doing better with his jabs. Munhoz landed a big right but it didn't faze Edgar too much. Munhoz ate a couple of shots but countered beautifully. Edgar landed a solid shot. Although it was a fairly even round, it appeared as though Edgar had a slight edge on significant strikes. A true chess match.
Round 5: Pedro Munhoz was doing great with his takedown defense but Frankie Edgar was mixing it up with head and body shots. There was an incredible exchange where all shots landed for both competitors. Munhoz was pushing forward, but that didn't mean Edgar wasn't doing anything. He was actively looking for the counter, landing a big right. Munhoz took more shots halfway into the round. Munhoz started to land in the last couple of minutes, but Edgar started going on the front foot as well. Edgar landed a big right with a minute left. Munhoz tried to salvage the round, finding moderate success with his counters. Pedro Munhoz ended the fight with a body kick.

A big win for Frankie Edgar in a decision that could have gone either way. It's a great way to bounce back from his defeat to The Korean Zombie Chan Sung Jung last December.
