Vitor Petrino is a Brazilian professional mixed martial artist currently active in the light heavyweight division. He is signed with the leading professional mixed martial arts promotion, the UFC. An able striker, Petrino has produced dominant performances throughout his professional career until now.

Having made his professional debut on May 3, 2019, Vitor Petrino never let the hype around him fizzle out. Since his first professional fight, he has kept repeating explosive performances inside the mixed martial arts rings. In the inaugural match of his career, he locked horns with Rodolfo Bellato at MF: Max Fight 22. Petrino made quick work of Bellato and registered a win by beating him via first-round TKO.

After registering seven consecutive victories, Petrino marched forward in his career and took part in Dana White’s Contender Series: Season 6, Week 7. He faced his first professional rival, Rodolfo Bellato, in the bout and produced a similar result to their first meeting. Bellato was knocked out by Petrino in the second round to pick up a win.

Vitor Petrino made his promotional debut in the UFC against Anton Turkalij at UFC Fight Night: Yan vs. Dvalishvili on March 12, 2023. The fight went the distance of the stipulated three rounds and Petrino was adjudged the winner by a unanimous decision. The victory was one of the few decision victories to Petrino’s credit, who otherwise is an able finisher.

The pay-per-view event will be headlined by UFC flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja and Steve Erceg in a flyweight title bout.
