After being asked if he has any heroes outside of MMA, Magny replied that his heroes are his grandmother and mother. These two women taught him the values of hard work and sacrifice. He said he idolized and was inspired by fighters like Nate Marquardt, Matt Hughes, and Miguel Torres.
