Since making his debut in ONE Championship in 2019, the heavy-handed Brazilian has earned some impressive wins. First, he defeated Muin Gafurov. Lineker followed this up with a knockout win over former world champion Kevin Belingon. Next, he knocked out Troy Worthen in round one.

Most recently, 'Hands of Stone' captured the ONE bantamweight world title by knocking out the record-setting world champion Bibiano Fernandes and taking the bantamweight throne for himself.

'Hands of Stone' John Lineker will next look to defend his world championship against the young Brazilian Fabricio Andrade. 'Wonder Boy' has put together an impressive knockout win streak to earn his top contender position.

It will be a high-stakes matchup between the Brazilian knockout artists in this highly anticipated world championship showdown. Lineker and Andrade will meet in the ONE circle at ONE on Prime Video 3 on October 21 in the main event.

In an interview with ONE Championship, the bantamweight king said that his punching power will make all the difference in this match:

“[Andrade’s] Muay Thai is excellent, he’s a great fighter, but I have boxing that scares opponents, especially because of the [power in] my hands. So, which one is better, I don’t know. I don’t like to keep comparing, but I believe in my potential. I know I’m good at what I do.”
