Henry Cejudo is an American mixed martial artist and an Olympic Gold medallist. He was born on February 9, 1987, in Los Angeles, California, and is of Mexican descent. Cejudo competed in the UFC and is a former two-division champion.

Henry Cejudo overcame a tumultuous upbringing. Born to Mexican immigrants in Los Angeles, he faced the turmoil of his father’s drug and alcohol abuse, leading to frequent relocations. Despite adversity, Cejudo’s resilience shone through. He excelled in wrestling, winning the coveted Olympic gold in 2008. His transition to MMA was equally impressive, with Cejudo being one of the rare fighters who became champions in two divisions.
