Henry Cejudo is an American mixed martial artist and an Olympic Gold medallist. He was born on February 9, 1987, in Los Angeles, California, and is of Mexican descent. Cejudo competed in the UFC and is a former two-division champion.

At four, his mother fled with her children to New Mexico, escaping his violent father. Deported when Cejudo was six, his father passed away when he was about 20. Despite adversity, Cejudo’s resilience shone through. He excelled in wrestling, winning the coveted Olympic gold in 2008. His transition to MMA was equally impressive, with Cejudo being one of the rare fighters who became champions in two divisions.
