Benoit Saint-Denis, nicknamed the "God of War”, burst into the UFC from his hometown of Nimes, France. A former French Special Forces operative, Saint-Denis made his professional MMA debut in 2019 and has quickly gained recognition through a relentless fighting style with a knack for submitting his opponents. Of his 13 wins, nine have come via submission and four by knockout. He has also finished seven opponents in the first round.

Saint-Denis made his first walk to the UFC octagon in 2021 and suffered a unanimous decision loss to Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos. He has since gone on a tear, notching huge victories against Thiago Moises, Ismael Bonfim, and Matt Frevola while showing off his effective striking and submission game. This includes his dominant TKO performance against Moises in 2023 which has him pegged as one of the up-and-coming stars in the division. His last fight came against UFC veteran Dustin Poirier at UFC 299, where he was stopped by KO in the second round. For his next outing, Saint-Denis is scheduled to headline the UFC Fight Night on September 28, 2024, against Renato Moicano.
