Daniel Rodriguez is an American professional boxer and mixed martial artist who is signed with the elite professional mixed martial arts promotion, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Prior to his UFC debut, Rodriguez competed in different professional mixed martial arts promotions including the rival UFC promotion Bellator MMA. He found a way into mixed martial arts in his 20s.

Daniel Rodriguez made his professional mixed martial arts debut in 2015 against Christopher Gates. He made an impressive statement in his inaugural professional mixed martial arts fight by finishing Gates in the first round via submission. His dominant debut was preceded by an amateur record of 7 wins and 0 losses.

Daniel Rodriguez made his entry into the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on February 15, 2020, against Tim Means.
