Israel Adesanya is one of the most influential and prominent professional mixed martial arts the sport has produced in recent years. A dominant middleweight competitor as a professional mixed martial artist, he has reigned two times as the middleweight champion of the elite professional mixed martial arts organization, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Israel Adesanya dominated in kickboxing before making a mark in the world of professional mixed martial arts. He shifted to professional mixed martial arts in 2012 by making his debut against James Griffiths and winning the fight in the first round via a TKO.
