Joe Pyfer is an American mixed martial arts competitor who fights out of Pennsylvania. He competes in the middleweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He was awarded a contract with the elite mixed martial arts promotion in the first week of Dana White’s Contender Series (DWCS) Season 6.

Pyfer started his professional career in mixed martial arts in May 2018. Before competing in the UFC, he defeated Osman Diaz via second-round TKO at the Dana White Contender Series (DWCS) Season 6.

Joe Pyfer’s professional mixed martial arts debut came against Steven Covington on AOW 7: Art of War Cage Fighting 7 on May 18, 2018. He defeated Covington via first-round TKO. After defeating Diaz, he faced Alen Amedovski at UFC Fight Night: Sandhagen vs. Song on September 18, 2022, and won via first-round TKO. He currently holds a professional record of 12 wins and 3 losses (12-3-0).

Joe Pyfer experienced a toxic and traumatizing upbringing as a child. He, along with his siblings, were subjected to abuse as kids by their father. He made multiple attempts to desert his house as a kid to escape the abuse, and only his close friends are said to be privy to his condition. He is scheduled to feature in a documentary that would show him talking about his childhood and the struggles he faced on his way to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

With just four bouts in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and a record of 3-1 thus far, Pyfer believes that he has come a long way from his tumultuous past.

Unfortunately, Pyfer lost his last fight against Jack Hermansson via a unanimous decision.
