Li Jingliang is an acclaimed professional mixed martial arts competitor currently signed with the leading professional mixed martial arts organization, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). With a background in wrestling and Sanda, Jingliang switched to training in mixed martial arts after moving to Beijing from Xinjiang, China.

Li Jingliang set foot inside a professional mixed martial arts cage for the first time in 2007. He squared off against Makhach Gadhziev in his first professional mixed martial arts bout. Li Jingliang dispatched him in the second round by TKO and started his career with a dominant win. After his professional debut in mixed martial arts, Li Jingliang fought in various fight promotions, and seven years down the line, he eventually made his way into the coveted UFC. He faced David Michaud in his promotional debut on May 24, 2014. Jingliang won a closely contested fight by a split decision against Michaud.

With an experience of 27 professional fights as of August 17, 2024, Li Jingliang is now poised to return to the octagon on August 18, 2024, against Carlos Prates in a welterweight showdown at UFC 305: Du Plessis vs. Adesanya.
