Luis Alberto "Venado" Lopez is a professional boxer from Mexico who competes in the featherweight category. The aggressive pugilist, known for his knockout prowess, was born on August 21, 1993, in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. With a true passion for sports, he quickly discovered his calling while growing up amidst the rich boxing culture in Mexicali. Lopez entered the pro ranks on November 6, 2015, and won a split decision over Francisco Javier Pacheco. In a short period, Lopez had amassed an impressive record of 16-1 by the end of 2018.

His breakthrough moment came on February 28, 2019, when he knocked out Ray Ximenez to claim the WBO International featherweight title. Lopez has had victories over big names such as Gabriel Flores Jr., Cristian Baez, and Isaac Lowe.
