Brendan Allen was born on December 28, 1995, in Beaufort, South California, USA. He started training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu as early as 13 years of age as a teenager. Allen shifted to Clementi’s Gladiator Academy to receive training in mixed martial arts. He made his professional mixed martial arts debut on August 22, 2015.
In his inaugural professional mixed martial arts fight, Allen locked horns with Zebulon Stroud at WFC 42. He dispatched Stroud in the closing moments of the first round with a flurry of punches and registered a first-round TKO win in his favor. Allen won his first two professional fights before encountering the first loss of his professional career.
Brendan Allen went head-to-head against Trevin Giles at Legacy FC 52 on March 25, 2016, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, USA. Giles clamped Allen in a rear-naked choke in the second round of the fight and defeated him via first-round submission.
