Dillon Danis recently appeared on Ariel Helwani's show The MMA Hour. The interaction between the pair went viral on social media as Helwani asked Danis some tough questions and the former UFC fighter had trouble answering them honestly. The talk show host and pundit even went on to trash-talk Conor McGregor's former training partner on Twitter.

In response to all the hate he has been receiving, Danis tweeted out saying:

"The most viewed interview of the year in 6 days! What’s Ariel gonna say now?"

With 854k views, Ariel Helwani's interview with Dillon Danis became the most-viewed MMA Hour interview on the page this year. The previous record was 853k, which was the Israel Adesanya interview following his loss to Alex Pereira. Danis is using this as leverage against Helwani, reminding him that despite the trolls and the hate, he still delivered the most-watched interview on his channel.

Dillon Danis says he will retire if he does not beat Paddy Pimblett in a fight

Paddy Pimblett was the talk of the MMA world following his controversial win over Jared Gordon in the co-main event of UFC 282. Many UFC fighters and fans alike criticized the judging of the fight and believed Gordon should have won the bout. Following the controversial victory, Dillon Danis called out 'The Baddy' and had this to say about a potential fight between them:

"If I don’t finish Paddy Pimblett in under 2 mins, I’ll retire and delete all social media forever, plus give everyone who likes this 1k each."

Dillon Danis claims that if he fights Paddy Pimblett and loses, he will retire and delete all his social media forever. Conor McGregor's former teammate also promised everyone who liked the tweet $1,000. Ariel Helwani questioned Danis about whether he pays people when he promotes his tweets.

Although Danis claims he does pay everyone that wins, Helwani had a hard time believing him because he keeps promising thousands of dollars in every tweet.
