Brazilian MMA fighter Caio Borralho began MMA at the age of six with Judo, which he later transferred to Muay Thai. Before beginning his professional MMA career in 2014, he was a black belt in Muay Thai, a brown belt in Judo, and later a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jutsu.

In late 2021, he participated in Dana White's Contender Series 41 and 44, securing his UFC contract at the latter event by winning against Jesse Murray with a first-round technical knockout. He made his debut in the UFC in April 2022 at UFC on ESPN 34, facing Gadzhi Omargadzhiev. He secured a victory through a technical decision, even with points deducted for an accidental illegal knee.

Caio Borralho's weight class

Caoi Borralho fights in the middleweight division of the UFC. Early on in his career, from 2014 to 2018, he competed in the welterweight division (156-170 lbs.), and by late 2018, he debuted in the middleweight (171-185lbs.) division at Batalha MMA 14 against Douglas Nascimento.

After winning the FFC Middleweight Championship in 2020 at Future FC 12 against Wildemar Santos via decision, he debuted in the light heavyweight division (186-205 lbs.) in 2021 at Dana White Contender Series 44 via decision. This was his only light heavyweight debut, as after this, he returned to middleweight.
