Alex Pereira and Khabib Nurmagomedov are two of the most recognizable names the UFC has produced in recent years. A leading contender in the light heavyweight division once opined on the outcome of a fight between the duo.
Earlier this year, Magomed Ankalaev favored Nurmagomedov to finish the fight against Pereira.
'Poatan' is a former middleweight champion and is currently dominating the light heavyweight division of the promotion. Meanwhile, Nurmagomedov retired as an undefeated fighter and lightweight titleholder.
Offering his opinion in the clip, Ankalaev said:

"I've never wrestled with Khabib, not faced him so it's hard to answer that question and so...Pereira I think anyone who can...Khabib if he takes Pereira down, I think he'll finish it. Why? Because he doesn't have a wrestling, he doesn't know how to get up and he also hasn't been you can say, in hard fights where wrestling is present."
Check out Magomed Ankalaev's comments below:
Alex Pereira is not known for his ground game and relies heavily on his kicks and devastating punching power to finish his opponents. He is on a five-fight winning streak out of which four have come via knockouts.
On the other hand, Khabib Nurmagomedov was known for his elite wrestling inside the octagon and submitted Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier, and Justin Gaethje in his last three fights before hanging up his gloves.
When Magomed Ankalaev responded to Alex Pereira rating him 5 out of 10
Magomed Ankalaev and Alex Pereira have been exchanging online barbs for a while now. The No. 1 ranked UFC light heavyweight contender once retorted back to Pereira for rating him 5 out of 10.
Ankalaev claimed he was not bothered by Pereira's "voodoo" stuff and said:
"This guy say I’m at level five I’m in this guy’s head. Please do not [lose] Saturday. I promise you this voodoo stuff will not work with me. I pray five times a day. I am protected."
Jiri Prochazka accused Alex Pereira of some rituals which according to him gave 'Poatan' an advantage in his fights before their second meeting at UFC 303. After defeating him, Pereira made it known that he doesn't approve of such comments.
